healthcare....

eye know that you all have been wondering....  how would eye handle the healthcare system....

first of all.... the system that you currently have set up....  creates friction....  creates a fight....  who gets more....  medicaid....  medicare....  the va....  and....  eye think that the va is supposed to be a benefit....  but eye think that it sucks....  eye think that it might even be worse than medicaid....

let me tell you about medicaid...  government run....  you do NOT want government run healthcare in this country....  my son is currently on medicaid....  no....  that is not true....  he was on medicaid....  the accepted him....  because he is unemployed....  and then....  all of a sudden....  they rejected him....  he called them....  eye do not know how many phone calls he made....  but eye was with him when he first started trying to get in touch with them....  and it was a cluster fuck....  and then....  days later....  he tried to call again....  he was on hold....  for FOUR fucking hours....  FOUR....  are you fucking kidding me....  and then....  when he finally got through....  they told him to send proof that he was unemployed....  and they would review it....  he still is uninsured today....  he had to pay high dollars for a recent prescription....  out of pocket....  because he is uninsured....  what if something happens to him....  what if he gets injured....  he did everything he was supposed to do....  and he got fucked....  eye challenge you....  try to contact medicaid....  see what a cluster fuck it is....  the problem is....  who keeps the government honest....  nobody....  so....  you think that the private health insurance system is bad....  wait until we have one hundred percent government run system....  no going back....

here is my proposal....  first....  allow insurance companies to colaborate....  on some things....  let them have a panel or coop or whatever you want to call it....  that negotiates rates with doctors and pharmaceutical companies....  imagine the savings....  one company to negotiate the rates for everyone....  and then you get rid of the need for every company to have to negotiate rates....  what a savings....  

second....  give everyone vouchers....  that can only be used for healthcare....  so that EVERYONE has access to insurance....  one voucher....  for everyone....  so....  nobody....  gets more or less....  you no longer fight....  over which system gets more....  which system gets less....  and you have a private run system....  that the government can oversee....  the governement should do as little as possible....
