empowering children....
right now.... this is another place holder.... to remind me to come back and write this chapter later.... stay tuned....
eye have not written about empowering children yet.... but that is a big part of this.... empowering them.... by giving them an advocate at an early age.... this is the concept behind giving children access to a therapist on a weekly basis.... every child.... starting at an early age.... this is also the concept behind.... giving children much more of a say.... in what school they go to.... what teachers they have.... AND.... even what they learn.... stay tuned for chapters on therapy and student choice in the near future.... this is also the philosophy behind giving children some of their own money at an early age.... eye know that these all seem like radical concepts.... perhaps some of you might say that they are crazy.... who would give young children power.... but.... eye will make you a deal.... give them back the power that they deserve.... and they will become upright and strong.... (1) they will be confident.... AND.... they will be far less disruptive.... half of their disruptive behavior.... come from having very little power over their lives....
so.... what do you think.... do you think that bad religion will come after me.... for using their lyrics in this chapter.... yes.... eye used the exact lyric.... but not the entire lyric.... just three words.... is that enough for me to get in trouble.... we shall see....
