drug legalization....

the mob tried to hit me tonight....  they tried to give me covid....  and....  eye was dumb....  eye am always dumb in the moment....  eye stayed next to the coughing dude....  but....  eye am usually pretty smart in the long-term....  when eye got home eye showered and did a neti pot for the nose and am gargling apple cider vinegar....  and....  eye took some vitamin c and have been keeping my vitamin d levels up....  so....  hopefully....  eye survived the covid exposure....  this time....  hmmmm....  or....  maybe it was not a mob hit at all....  maybe....  the guy just had smokers cough....  let us hope....  that the guy just had smokers cough....  actually....  he has no cough tonight....  so....  no covid....  yaya....

if they hit me....  they probably hit me....  because they know that eye am going to hit them....  not on purpose....  eye just believe that drugs should be legalized....  and they know it....  not because eye want to hit them....  although....  eye do believe in cutting the feet out from under corrupt and violent organizations....  which.... the mob qualifies as....  on both counts....

look....  eye just think that there are much better ways to deal with the drug problem....  this is a much longer conversation....  that eye am NOT going to get entirely into right now....  eye am just going to say....  if you tax drugs....  and use the proceeds ONLY to take care of the problems caused by drugs....  like addiction....  and....  mental illness....  and....  if you tax....  based on the harm caused....  for example....  if you taxed marijuana based on thc concentrations....  with....  a quadratic increase in taxes for higher concentration....  you could put a huge dent in the mental illness caused by marijuana....  eye believe that it is the higher thc concentrations that are causing the real problems with mental illness....  and....  so....  the tax on high concentrations....  might be ten times higher than on lower concentrations....  again....  this is a much bigger discussion....  that eye am not going to go into right now....

but....  you should know....  if you legalized drugs....  you could save twenty-five thousand lives a year in mexico alone....  that is how many deaths that they say are caused by the drug wars each year in mexico....  and....  think about ALL of the costs of enforcement that could be eliminated....  

just a hunch....  fixing the problems caused by drug abuse....  would be much much much less costly....  than what drug enforcement costs society today....

the way eye see it....  drug use....  is a victimless crime....  the use....  is victimless....  as long as you do not steal to fund your habit....  eye believe....  you have the right....  to do whatever the fuck you want with your own body....  IF....  you want to destroy your body....  you have the right to do so....
