australia is nearly as large as the united states....  and....  it is nearly ninety-five percent empty....  and....  it is seventy-five percent desert....

farmers are learning how to re-plant desserts....  

australia was mostly rainforest forty million years ago....  why NOT make it rainforest again....  rainforests are HUGE carbon sinks....
