fifteen minute cities....

what is this....  what is all this talk about fifteen minute cities....  eye love the name....  once again....  the democrats have come up with a great name....  a great phrase....  how can someone who is sooooooo good at marketing....  be sooooooooo  shitty at implementation....

you guys....  once again....  you guys have it all wrong....  you do NOT want to pack people in high density cities....  there are soooooo many problems with that....  eye do not even know where to start....  let me just mention a few....  no negative ions....  you are creating a cess pool....  again with the spelling....  you are creating a magnet for disease....  you are forcing people to live in small apartments....  rents skyrocket in dense cities....  no one can afford anything bigger than a box....  and....  then....  nobody talks to anyone else....  people get sick of people....  they get information overload....  and they shut down....  and....  then....  they get angry....  very angry....  talk to a new yorker some time....  just for a couple of minutes....  and then you will get it....  you will see just how angry population density makes people....  ok ok ok....  eye am done ragging on the big cities for now....

now....   my idea of a fifteen minute city....  is nederland....  nederland colorado....  where you are surrounded by beauty....  any way you go....  you are out in nature in minutes....  you are out in negative ion central....  having a bad day....  head north....  feeling sick....  head south....  feeling depressed....  head east....  and for whatever else ailes you my friend....  head west my son....  or daughter....  head west....

no need for busses....  no need for high rises....  no need for whatever the fuck you want people to have in the population dense high rise cities that you are all creating....

come to ned....  check it out....  AWESOME restaurants....  happy people....  beautiful landscape....  none of your modern shit....  just....  wholesome....  down to earth....  people....  all except chessman....  take chessman out of the city....  and....  you have an awesome city....  word has it....  he is going to hit the road....  happy trails for everyone else....  two or three coffee shops....  plenty of awesome restaurants....  a rustic feel....  and nature nature nature....  what else can you ask for....

this is kinda a totally different subject....  but....  if you follow the ned example....  you do not need mass transportation....  within the city limits....  mass transportation belongs outside the cities....  taking people from city to city to city....  not within a city....  where it only serves to fuck up traffic....  more about this later....  probably....  in a chapter called....  city planning....  or....  state planning....  or....  national planning....  eye do not know....  but it fits in somewhere in this book of mine....
